The Joshua Bates Art Center’s studios are currently fully occupied. As Bates artist studio workspace may become available in future, the artist selection process for available Bates Studios may reopen and opportunities may be advertised. All applicants to the Bates must be registered artists holding BRA Artist Certification. Contact the Boston Redevelopment Authority Artist Initiative/Artist Certification Program, City Hall, Boston, for further information on certification.
